The Gage Roads Straddie Invitational – Australia’s Premier Team Surfing Event.

The Straddie Invitational returns to Point Lookout, Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island), bringing together 20 of Australia’s top boardriders clubs for the world’s longest-running team surfing competition.

Now in its 42nd year, the event was first held in 1983 as the Straddie Assault and has since grown into a cornerstone of Australian surf culture. This year’s format includes both points-based heats and tag team events, showcasing elite club surfing at its best.
