Amity Point (Pulan)

Amity Point, North Stradbroke Island

On the calm waters of Moreton Bay, you’ll discover Amity Point (Pulan), North Stradbroke Island’s (Minjerribah) quiet, seaside village, located on the North-Western tip of the island. Minjerribah can be accessed by regular passenger and vehicle ferries which depart from Cleveland (Nandeebie/Indillie), right on Brisbane’s doorstep.

Amity Point is renowned for its quiet, laid-back fishing village atmosphere and is the perfect place to relax, unwind, cast a line, or watch the sun set over the bay with a fresh seafood picnic courtesy of the local trawler. Amity’s most popular landmark is its jetty, a favoured spot to watch the sun disappear over the mainland and the dolphins play. The calm bay waters are a popular spot for safe, calm swimming at the enclosure, and the rock wall on either side of the jetty is teeming with marine life, a vast array of fish species and the occasional dugong can be sighted.

There are a range of accommodation options in Amity Point to suit all budgets. Waterfront cabins, cottages, bungalows, and houses are all available. There is also a large camping ground which boasts magnificent views over Moreton Bay.
