Terra Bulla Leumeah

TERRA BULLA LEUMEAH

Terra Bulla Leumeah is a 1.5 hectare bushland property situated at Myora on North Stradbroke Island. The site has a strong link to the recent and long-term past of Aboriginal people in the region as it was previously the old Myora Mission site. The Elders recall stories of their grandparents living on the land and its importance as a gathering place. This culturally significant area has a bush tucker garden trail, and wheelchair access and seating for cultural exchange programs, such as cultural talks and dance performances. The Elder’s vision for Terra Bulla Leumeah is to develop this area as a historical, cultural place where cultural knowledge, education and awareness programs will be shared.
