At Amity Point there is a general store with fuel and a fresh seafood store all on the main road through the township.

At Point Lookout retailers include a supermarket, a delicatessen and fruit and vegetable shop, fresh seafood sellers, art galleries selling local works, a surf shop, fashion, gift and homeware shops. The newsagent has a good stock of books on North Stradbroke and Moreton Bay and is near a video hire shop with internet services.

Point Lookout Markets are held on Sundays and public holidays in peak holiday times.   Buy organic honey from bees that forage in island leptospermum forests, native plants, including orchids, from the Point Lookout Bushcare stall and local arts and crafts. Stalls can be booked through Noreen’s Seaside Shop at Point Lookout.
