There are three small, distinctly different township 20kms apart, for a permanent population of 2500.
Dunwich – is the gateway to the island by ferry and has a range of cafes, shops and services. It’s a historical town with a rich heritage.
Amity Point - is a small seaside village with holiday accommodation taking advantage of the sunsets over the bay. It is a favourite fishing spot for people, pelicans and dolphins.
Point Lookout – is popular for its magnificent surf beaches, land based whale watching from the headland, retail shops, restaurants and holiday accommodation with stunning views of the Coral Sea.
